Prin derularea acestui proiect la Universitatea “Aurel Vlaicu” din Arad s-au pus bazele primului laborator HPC (high performance computer) din județul Arad, fiind instalat un HPC cu 176 de noduri și 13 stații de lucru (https://erris.gov.ro/NanoART-BioCell sau https://eeris.eu/ERIF-2000-000X-5647).

Proiectul a fost un foarte bun catalizator de idei care a stimulat colaborarea între două universități din România (Universitatea “Aurel Vlaicu”din Arad și Universitatea Tehnică de Construcții din București) și una din Portugalia (Universitatea din Minho), și a contribuit la câștigarea unor proiecte finanțate prin granturi naționale totalizând peste 780.000 euro.
